Job Description

Reporting to the School Director, the Academic Manager will provide direction and management to the teaching staff and facilitate the academic needs of the school, with particular regard to scheduling, timetabling, teachers’ HR administration, payroll, budgetary matters and so forth. The post operates in close cooperation with other academic staff and the roles are jointly responsible for the success of the academic department. As Academic Manager, you will take responsibility for all operational and budgetary aspects of the academic department, including recruitment, induction and retention of teaching staff, management of space and resources, monitoring class averages and hour banks, administering teachers’ pay and overtime. Qualifications

  • Required- Undergraduate degree; Preferred- Master’s degree
  • TESL certification and adult teaching experience
  • 3 years experience in a supervisory role
