We are growing our direct sales channel which uses the website as a means of selling our products and services, and looking for an enthusiastic team member to join our dynamic and professional team in West London.
Description:
This is an exciting to join a strong company that has just created a new online marketing department. As an intern, you will be joining us at the infancy stages of what is to become in the future a strong channel for Kaplan International Colleges. You must have a real passion/interest for online marketing as this position offers fantastic opportunities for somebody looking to learn more about SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), PPC (Pay Per Click), and the e-marketing channel in general.
You will help us grow this channel by working with the Online Marketing Manager and the Marketing team, our sales & CRM team, and our SEO and PPC agencies in London.
Responsibilities
Assist the Online Marketing manager with his daily duties as needed.
- SEO: Work with the manager to improve our sites natural rankings. This will include on page optimisation, copywriting, and link building.
- PPC: Work with our licensed Bid Management tool for our worldwide PPC (Pay Per Click) activities, which will include keyword generation, Ad Copy, analysis of campaigns, analysis of ROI, CPA (cost per acquisition), and COS (cost of Sale), and weekly reporting on the campaigns performance.
- Online Advertising: Identify potential opportunities for online banners in our target markets.
- Affiliates: Identify potential partners for us to work with
- Website Design/usability: Identifying ways to improve the website experience for visitors
- Social Media: assist our Social Media & PR Manager with his duties
- Other: Depending on profile, other tasks may be assigned
Profile – Requirements
- Strong creative skills to generate copywriting and ad creatives
- Strong analytical skills
- Well organized and able to multitask
- Experience in offline or online marketing techniques is preferred; specifically PPC, SEO
- Enthusiastic and passionate about learning about web/online marketing
- Ability to handle pressure and work to deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and be able to work independently as well as within a team
- Foreign languages are a strong asset as our website is published in 15 languages
