We are a division of Kaplan Inc, a subsidiary of the Washington Post Company (US Fortune 500 company). Our division has been offering English language courses & University programs since 1967. Currently we offer courses in 44 schools and a variety of programs in 6 countries. We are growing our direct sales channel which uses the website as a means of selling our products and services, and looking for an enthusiastic PPC Manager to join our dynamic, international and professional team in West London.
SEO Manager - Job Description
Manage and implement the SEO of the Kaplan International Colleges site in 15+ languages. Have excellent and extensive technical, on page and linking strategy skills (internal & external). Identify and analyse key metrics and assess the performance of SEO activity, providing reports on a monthly basis. You will have a proven track record of delivering SEO results in competitive sectors such as insurance, gambling, holidays or financial services. You will do some of the work in house with a team of juniors/interns to help you with the various languages. You will also work with an outside SEO agency for a select few non European languages. Experience in blogs, User Generated Content, localization, and managing and training a team would be a valuable asset for this position. We work in a wide range of languages, so any additional languages to English would be also an asset.
Profile – Requirements
- Measured success in previous SEO role(s)
- Strong command of English and additional languages are an asset (as our SEO is multilingual)
- Strong web writing skills and SEO technical skills
- Strong analytical skills
- At ease with data analysis and problem solving
- Well organized and able to multitask
- Enthusiastic and passionate about search engine optimisation
- Ability to handle pressure and work to deadlines
- Excellent management skills
- Excellent communication skills and be able to work independently as well as within a team
