Phillips prize awarded to Kaplan International Colleges Academic Director

Congratulations to Vincent Creighton, Academic Director Vocational Education and Training with Kaplan International Colleges Sydney who recently won the Phillips Prize.

The Phillips Prize(initiated in 1981) commemorates the distinguished contribution made by Donald Phillips to the development of technical teacher education in NSW. It is awarded to the graduate with the most outstanding academic and professional record in the vocational education field of practice in the Bachelor of Education in Adult Education at the University of Technology Sydney.

“This degree is an essential first step in developing knowledgeable VET practitioners who can lift the profile of the Australian VET sector in the future. It takes practitioners well beyond the "basics" of Training and Assessment and working in the Australian VET sector, covered in the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAA40104),” said Vincent.
