Foundation and Graduate Diploma Courses in Liverpool

Foundation Certificate and Graduate Diploma courses at Liverpool International College are specifically designed to equip international students with key academic skills, subject-based knowledge and English language skills. Admission to the University of Liverpool is guaranteed upon successful completion of your Foundation Certificate or Graduate Diploma course to the required level.

  • Foundation Certificate courses: Progress to Year 1 of an undergraduate degree at the University of Liverpool when you pass your course at the required level.

  • Graduate Diploma: Progress directly onto a Masters degree in your chosen subject area, upon successful completion to the required level.

  • Pre-Sessional English Students who do not meet our English entry criteria will be contacted regarding a place on a Pre-Sessional English language course as part of their individual study plan.

Accommodation

Liverpool International College Student Accommodation

Liverpool International College provides accommodation to students enrolled in our foundation or graduate diploma courses through trusted accommodation providers in Liverpool.

Arriving in a foreign country can be a daunting and exciting experience, so we want to make it as easy as possible for you. We try to arrange everything in advance so when you arrive we meet you at the airport and take you directly to your accommodation. Liverpool International College students can choose from a range of accommodation options, for example the following:

Arrad House

Located on Cambridge Court, which is 10-minute walk from Liverpool’s city centre and 5 minutes from Liverpool International College. Fully furnished bedrooms with private shower rooms are available in shared flats comprising of 5 rooms for our Foundation course and Graduate Diploma course students.

Myrtle Court

Located on Crown Street, a 15-minute walk from Liverpool’s city centre. Private study rooms with shower rooms are in a shared flat available with communal lounge/kitchen for Foundation course and Graduate Diploma course students.

Cambridge Court

Located on Cambridge Court, a 10-minute walk from Liverpool’s city centre and 5 minutes from Liverpool International College. Priavet study rooms with their shower rooms are available in shared flats of three, four, five and six bedroom apartments available for both foundation and diploma students.

Cedar House

Located on Cambridge Court, a 10-minute walk from Liverpool’s city centre and 5 minutes from Liverpool International College. These study rooms are available with their own private shower room with internet access for Foundation course and Graduate Diploma course students.

Larch House

On Cambridge Court, located 10 minutes’ walk from Liverpool’s city centre and 5 minutes from Liverpool International College. Fully furnished bedrooms in shared flats of one, two, three and four bedroom apartments are available for Foundation course and Diploma course students.

Lennon Studies

Located on Cambridge Court, a 10-minute walk from Liverpool’s city centre and 5 minutes from Liverpool International College. Shared flats comprising of 2 - 8 fully furnished rooms with in-room broadband internet access available for Foundation course and Graduate Diploma course students.
