Social Activities 
Typical social activities for students at our colleges include: 

• Bath: Visits to Bath Abbey, Victoria Art Gallery, Fashion Museums, excursions to Bristol and Oxford and a boat trip on the River Avon
• Torquay: Visits to Kents Cavern and Cockington Village, Agatha Christie Tour, Mystery Pub Tours, excursions to Exeter and Dartmoor and a boat trips to Brixham
  
  

Senior English Course Facts:

Our experienced teachers are all certified and qualified in teaching English and our lesson content and curricula are carefully designed to improve students' reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. You will join students of all nationalities and in most cases a variety of ages in classes which correspond to your level of English. On your first morning you will take a Kaplan International College test to make sure that your level of English is correctly assessed and you are put in the right class.

Program length: 4 weeks

Accommodation: Options are carefully chosen and can be adapted to individual needs.

Recommended ages: 50 + (although younger students have participated in and thoroughly enjoyed the course)

English Entry Requirements: Elementary

Course content: 15 hours of General English classes and 3 organised social activities each week

Nationalities: Usually a combination of German, Swedish, Danish, Japanese and Colombian, but ALL nationalities welcome!

Example activities: We offer some great activities with the course, some past one include: Farm visits, Garden tours, Maori Concerts, Winery Visits, Museum visits and a City Tours!

After all your hard work in the classroom, you'll want to know how much progress you've made since the start of the Adult English program. Through careful and regular monitoring of your language level, we will be able to provide you with a Kaplan International Colleges Certificate of Achievement documenting your achievements in the English language; written proof of your accomplishments!
