I really like meeting people from many different countries. The teacher is really kind and the course content is really useful, so I’m learning a lot. 

The Silver Age 50+ is designed to offer an adult English course which is a holiday with a difference! Mature students can revive their English skills while exploring Australia and New Zealand. The course is offered to mature students and includes General English classes which focus on the four main disciplines of reading, writing, speaking and listening, as well as a social program with at least 3 activities per week, allowing students to improve their English language skills, while experiencing a new culture, sport or tourist attraction. Accommodation options are carefully chosen and can be adapted to individual needs.

Recommended ages: 50 + (although younger students have participated in and thoroughly enjoyed the course)

English Entry Requirements: Elementary

Course content: 15 hours of General English classes and 3 organised social activities each week

Nationalities: Usually a combination of German, Swedish, Danish, Japanese and Colombian, but ALL nationalities welcome!

Example activities: Farm visit, Garden tours, Maori Concert, Winery Visit, Jet boating, Museum visits and a City Tour
