Step 1 (Preparation):
The USMLE Step 1 Preparation course is a 6 month program featuring a comprehensive basic science review covering the 8 key disciplines (Anatomy, Behavioral Science, Biochemistry, Medical Genetics, Microbiology/Immunology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Physiology) and teaches medical graduates strategies necessary to prepare and complete the exam.
Step 1 (Exam):
A one-day computer exam, which includes 336 questions and spans 8 hours of testing, broken down into seven 1 hour blocks of 48 questions each.
Step 2 Clinical Knowledge (CK) (Preparation):
The USMLE Step 2 CK Preparation course is a 6 month program featuring a review of clinical knowledge including internal medicine, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Surgery, Neurology, Psychiatry, Public Health and more.
Step 2 Clinical Knowledge (CK) (Exam):
A multiple-choice exam, with approximately 352 questions. It is divided into 8 sixty minute blocks and spans one 9 hour testing session.
