What is the Certificate IV in Business Course?

The BSB40207 Certificate IV in Business is a Business English course and is ideal for you if you need to be able to apply broad business knowledge in an English environment. You will learn the necessary language and business skills to work in a fast-paced English office environment, and develop leadership, guidance and management abilities.

The course features modules in Human Resources, Marketing, Business Administration and Networking and Presentation skills. It is designed to complement the BSB50207: Diploma of Business and the BSB60207: Advanced Diploma of Business courses.

Course Structure

The course is divided into 4 units, each of which is comprised of up to 3 modules. The units are: Human Resources, Marketing, Business Administration and Networking and Presentation Skills.

Business Lessons:

15 hours per week for 20 weeks.

Online Learning:

5 hours of online learning per week.


Upon completion, you will receive a nationally recognised qualification that is currently issued within the Australian Qualifications Framework and is accepted for transferring academic credits at TAFE or another private registered training organisation.
