Position Overview
- All teachers are contracted to work a minimum of 15 hours per week. There may be additional hours available in some centers. Class take place Monday - Friday (mornings or afternoons).
- You will be provided with a course outline and additional learning materials appropriate for the age group. There will be a programme of continuing professional development, including teacher development sessions and regular team meetings.
- All staff will be required to attend an induction day prior to starting work
- Residential and non-residential positions are available
Essential Requirements
- All applicants must have a degree and a recognised TEFL certificate (Trinity TESOL/CELTA)
- Applicants with a PGCE in Modern Languages may be considered. (Please note online, weekend and introductory courses are not acceptable).
Desirable Skills
- Although previous experience with young learners is an advantage, newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply.
- A strong sport or leisure interest (especially for residential teachers)
- Experience of working in a summer centre or in a multilingual learning environment

- Activity Leaders are responsible for delivery of the social programme, which includes activities, excursions and evening entertainment.
- They will also be involved in the general supervision and welfare of the students at the center
- All staff will be required to attend an induction day prior to starting work.

Essential Requirements
- Background in sports coaching/drama / arts
- Evidence of working in teams
- Excellent inter-personal skills
- Experience of working with teenagers/juniors
- Current First Aid certificate
Desirable Skills
- Speaker of another language
- Current clean driving licence
- Experience of working at a residential center
