Homestays in Dublin are classed in two categories, Zone 1 and Zone 2. The classification is based on the motorway that runs around Dublin. Any host within the motorway is a Zone 1 host, outside the motorway is a zone 2 host. Travel times in Zone 1 and 2 vary depending on local transportation.
