Climate in New Zealand
The climate in New Zealand differs across regions, as it is subtropical on the North Island and mild and temperate on the South Island, and it is generally more humid and rainy in the east than the west. New Zealand's winter months bring snow to the mountain ranges on both islands, providing great skiing and scenery, while the coast remains mild with high temperatures between 10°C and 16°C.
