Kaplan Passes 50,000 Facebook Likes
The number of Facebook fans has risen steadily since Kaplan joined the social network in 2010 and the total has surpassed the 50,000 landmark, partly in thanks to the recent launch of the Scotland Facebook photo competition, which offers a prize of an English course in Edinburgh.
Kaplan launched its Facebook presence in order to reach out to past, current, and potential future students who are interested in studying in English language schools in England, Scotland, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Malta.
Facebook users from all over the globe can engage with Kaplan on Facebook as the international education provider has Facebook Pages in multiple languages, allowing English learners worldwide to communicate and share in their own local language.
Robert Pickstone, Kaplan’s Social Media Manager, said: “We would like to say a huge thank you to the 50,000 Facebook fans who have shown an interest in our colleges and company. We love speaking to new friends and helping our students – social media is definitely a two-way street.
“When we do post updates, we try to ensure they are exciting and interesting, and so add to the Kaplan Experience. If you’re interested in travelling abroad, learning English, making new friends and having fun, come and say hello!”
Kaplan regularly runs competitions, shares information and engages with English learners on all major social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Google +, YouTube and most recently Instagram.
