Spooky Stories, Costume Contests and Pumpkin Parties

We'd like to announce the winners for our first #KaplanLovesHalloween scary story contest!

Ana, from Mexico, shared this stunning photo of her Day of the Dead make up, plus her short story.

It was a costume party and she was dressed just like me (Catrina, the lady of death in Mexico), she came to me and said "It was easy to find you, your grandma told me about your costume. It's time for you to see her again." My grandma died when I was a baby...

Not only have our students been writing creepy stories, but they've also been having a great time celebrating Halloween in the schools. Kaplan Edinburgh hosted a pumpkin carving party, with students getting the chance to show how creative they could be with a knife and some fruit.

Students in Melbourne dressed up in costumes for their Halloween party, with the help of face paint.

And of course, Halloween wouldn't be complete without a costume competition.

What are your plans this Halloween? Let us know in the comments!
