Kaplan International Launches New Adventure English Course
Intrepid students will be able to combine adventure with learning English next summer thanks to the launch of Kaplan International’s latest course for young learners.
Kaplan International English are excited to announce the launch of a new adventure English course for students aged between 12 and 16-years-old, which will be based on the beautiful Isle of Wight from summer 2014.
Kaplan has partnered with Kingswood, one of the leading providers of residential adventure courses for UK school children, to offer this English course with a difference.
There are over 50 fun, varied and challenging activities on offer, all run by full qualified instructors and coaches. From surfing and kayaking in the bay, to adrenaline pumping climbing and high ropes, there is something to excite the most courageous student.
The center in the Isle of Wight is perfect for adventurous activities; with long sandy beaches just a few minutes’ walk away. There is a purpose built site of more than 100 acres and the location is safe, secure and lots of fun.
Sandra McCord, Operations Manager at Kaplan’s Summer Young Learner Centers, said: “The Isle of Wight is a beautiful Island, perfect for those with a spirit for adventure! We’re looking forward to welcoming the students and providing them with the educational experience of a lifetime.”
The accommodation is homely and comfortable with shared bedrooms, ideal for younger students aged 12-16. The onsite will ensure that students feel welcome and safe, so they can enjoy their UK Kaplan experience from beginning to end and have memories to last a life time.
All Kaplan International English’s language schools in the UK are British Council Accredited, and the innovative and unique K+Teens academic program means that students will receive high quality English lessons alongside the fantastic activity program.
