Why Kaplan Students Love Studying in London!
During the summer, when London is at its busiest, sunniest and most social, we welcome so many students into our schools that we decided to offer another location! Our Russell Square school offers our students the chance to see London, mingle with students from our other two schools and enjoy what the city has to offer.
London is best known for its royal buildings, lazy river and great nightlife, but there's a lot more to it than that.
Read on to find out what our students love about studying English in London!
"I really like the activities programme.
It's great because you can visit a lot of famous and interesting places in London, such as museums and galleries but also pubs, markets and discos.
And you meet other Kaplan students as well, so if you are interested in making friends, you can do that with the social programme."
Serrana Borbonei Rolfi, Uruguay
"I recommend the London Eye - you get a fantastic view of London.
Shopping in London is really good too, there is a great variety of shops with beautiful things for everyone. Oxford Street is the best for shopping.
There are also some great Chinese restaurants near the (Covent Garden) school."
Jurema Ventura, Angola
"The school isn't too big so you feel at home here, and it has the best social programme - there is always something to do. This makes it much easier to make friends.
In Camden Town you can find a great variety of food, and lots of different kinds of people - it's really interesting.
In London there is a really good pub culture, especially out of the centre, so they're great to visit.
South Kensington has some great restaurants for evening dining. There are some lovely parks to relax in when the weather is good."
Turki, Saudi Arabia
