The beginning of spring means cherry blossoms and wonderful mild weather with longer light evenings. Summer is hot and humid. Temperatures of 30 - 35 C are not uncommon but these hot days are often broken by impressive thunder storms. The autumn is mild with clear air and transforms the city into shades of orange, brown and gold in preparation for winter.
